WATER RESOURCES
Black & Veatch have designed all forms of dams and water
abstraction schemes across the world. Our designers have provided
solutions for some of the world's largest raw water transfer
schemes, using long distance pipelines and canals to alleviate
drought and to provide the basis for sustainable development
to many developing nations.
We are specialists in the design of tunnels for water/wastewater
transport and the design of outfalls so that they minimise
their impact on the environment. We also devise river and coastal
flood defence schemes (see our Environment pages).
Our experts advise government organisations and financial
institutions throughout the world on the operation, maintenance
and management of water assets. We provide Due Diligence and
water regulations services, as well as providing experts for
Public Inquiries and in legal disputes.
